There I was, at the window, making a deposit to my account at the Chainsaw Chicken International, Ltd credit union, when two masked men came in to rob the bank. It was so frightful!

One of the desperadoes stood right behind me! His gun pointed at employees. He shouted “This is a robbery! Everyone do what we say and you will be okay. Obey every order we give you.”

Everyone stood still, some were whimpering. I was so nervous. I didn’t want to get shot. The guy behind me yelled “Open your drawers”. I thought he said “drop your drawers”. I thought he was speaking to all of us. Guess I was too scared to tell the difference in what he said. So, down they went.

At that point, the criminals suddenly aborted their plans and ran away.

Good thing I didn’t think I heard ’empty your drawers’ cuz I had plenty to remove.

Maybe that’s why they ran away?
